Ranskalainen matinea/ Matinée francaise is a series of performances that take place in Talvipuutarha www.hel.fi/helsinki/fi/kulttuuri-ja-vapaa-aika/muu-vapaa-aika/seikkaile/talvipuutarha/talvipuutarha and are based on makers' favorite French books. Concept is by Hanna-Kaisa Tiainen. She invited the following Francophilies to join her: actors Aleksi Holkko and Terhi Suorlahti, writer Laura Lindstedt, writer- reseracher Anna Kortelainen, professor Mervi Helkkula, actor-director Jussi Lehtonen, dance artist Jorma Uotinen, circus artist Jenni Kallo, director-performer Elina Lajunen, musicians Mikko Perkola and David Chazam and set and costume designer Anna Sinkkonen.
First part was seen in september 2017. It was on Proust's In search of lost time and it was done by Aleksi Holkko and Hanna-Kaisa Tiainen. In april 2018 Hanna-Kaisa Tiainen and Lajunen worked Georges Perec's Species of spaces interpreted by Elina Lajunen and Hanna-Kaisa Tiainen. In may 2018 Hanna-Kaisa Tiainen and David Chazam organized a salon inspired by the works and life of Madame de Staël. Project is supported by city of Helsinki and Taike. Comments are closed.
